Greetings! I am an assistant professor of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering (by courtesy) at Purdue University. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019 and my advisor is Prof. Heng HuangPrior to this, I received my bachelor degree in bioinformatics from Zhejiang University in 2013.

My research focuses on machine learning and biomedical data science. I am particularly interested in designing novel deep neural networks with better performance and interpretability, as well as the application in the early diagnosis of chronic diseases.  [Google My Citations]
