History

Joyous Singers is a community chorus founded in 2000 by Clarese Fuller, comprised of musicians age fifty-five and older.  A ministry of Calvin Presbyterian Church, the Joyous Singers serve the Kentuckiana community through the ministry of music, performing for retirement communities, care facilities, and private groups.  Free, public concerts are held in December (the Christmas program) and the spring, usually April and May (see the Performance tab for current dates and locations!).  Led by Director Anita Mowery, Joyous Singers perform a unique and varied repertoire that includes folk, sacred, spirituals, musical theater and the American songbook.  Each season promises wonderful new music.
