I am wife of 28 years, mother of three boys, and proud Grandmother of one beautiful girl. Two of my children were born with severe to profound sensorineural deafness.  As an advocate for the deaf community I am well versed in ASL. I am a Paraprofessional in the Jefferson County, West Virginia Public School System. Currently I am employed at Charles Town Middle School where I have offered support as the school's Webpage Manager, Newsletter Editor, Cultural Diversity Committee Chair, Special Education aide, technology in the classroom advocate, and  a sponsor of an after school cultural diversity club. In addition I serve on our school’s Improvement Council and Wellness Committee when needed. I have earned my WV State Paraprofessional Certificate, completed credits towards Braille Specialist, and as an Autism Mentor. Recently I was awarded an Honorary Life Time membership into the F.F.A. from the Charles Town Middle School Chapter. I am a Board member of The Kidlink Association. The Kidlink Association supports and governs the The Kidlink Project.  Since 1990 The Kidlink Project has provide teachers and students a platform for collaborative educational projects.
