Introduction

Welcome! 

I am an assistant professor at Kookmin University in Korea. My scholarship engages religious education and interreligious studies, with a growing interest in the role of the humanities in the age of climate change.

I am committed to an education that liberates persons from hierarchical and violent structures and leads them toward more horizontal and democratic forms of learning. I seek to cultivate learners who do not simply receive what is given, but think critically and independently, engaging knowledge in creative and, at times, radical ways. I am particularly interested in how such formation unfolds through hybridity as persons navigate and inhabit overlapping religious, cultural, and epistemic worlds.
