I am a Research Scientist at CTI Renato Archer, Brazil, in the Division of Robotics and Computer Vision.
- My undergraduation was in Electrical Engineer 1979 in UFSC- Brazil
- MSc: In 1986 I received a MSC in UNICAMP - Brazil, that was about robot manipulators. . The work Trajectory Generation for robot manipulators: Kinematics and computation aspects, involves geometric modeling for manipulators, trajectory control and software infrastructure The work is available in Portuguese here
- PhD: Very late in 2002, I finished my PhD in UFSC-Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. My PhD work was about a Robotic Airship. The work contributed to one the first flight of a robotic airship. It was partially developed in CMU-USA (2000) with the advisory of Reid Simmons - the work at CMU was about the integration of a Robotic Software Architecture into an airship control system.The PhD work as "Contribution to the Development of Robotics Airships" (in Brazilian Portuguesese)
- Post Doc:-1 My Post-Doc work was developed in 2004 at CMU-USA under the advisory of Sanjiv Singh and Reid Simmons and it was about the integration of a low cost robot, the Evolution Robotics ER1, into a robot team to perform assembly tasks in the Trestle project.
- Post Doc:-2 In 2013 (Jan 2013 - Dez 2013) it was with Reid Simmons about Human Robot Interaction.
