Welcome to my website. I recently received my Ph.D from the Department of Political Science at Stony Brook University. My research falls into the broad fields of American Politics and Political Methodology. My more specific sub-field interests include judicial politics, with an emphasis on the United States Supreme Court. I also have an interest in and have presented and/or published research in Minority Politics (including American Indian Politics), State and Local Politics, the American Presidency, and Time Series Methodology. My dissertation examined how Supreme Court decision making is influenced at multiple levels by exogenous factors (mainly the US economy).

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University in St. Louis. I will be on the job market during the 2014-2015 academic year.

My research page includes a list of my publications as well as my CV. My teaching page lists the courses that I have taught and the courses I have been a Teaching Assistant for.
