We are broadly interested in evolution, with an emphasis on the relationship between genotype and phenotype, and the role of mutation in the generation of adaptive phenotypic variation. Current projects in the group address these topics in the context of gene regulation, particularly at the level of transcription, using both modeling and data-driven approaches. We are hosted by the Institute of Integrative Biology in D-USYS at ETH Zurich, funded by an SNSF Professorship. We are also affiliated with the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics
