The Love and Death of Jeremy pt.8


This is part of the Montreal Fringe Festival 2007 performance for Euphoreador + Friends. This part is the end of Jeremy's funeral. The character 'lounge singer' recites a poignant yet scathing poem and 'Jeremy's best friend' relates the story where he and Jeremy became men before he breaks down and curses god. The performers for the whole piece were Josh Hinck, Morgan Murray, Franco Proietti, David Schultz. The Love and Death of Jeremy pt.10



This is part of the Montreal Fringe Festival 2007 performance for Euphoreador + Friends. In this part the character of 'lounge singer' tells a story at Jeremy's wedding about one night when he and Jeremy were throwing snowballs at a house. The performers for the whole piece were Josh Hinck, Morgan Murray, Franco Proietti, David Schultz. The Subterranean Poets performed an impromptu performance of this poem at an opening at Galerie Urs Meile in Beijing in late March/early April 2006. The video is only an excerpt of the piece itself. The Subterraneans that performed were Bob Marcacci, junKbox, Zhou Yu, Jack Raif. Bob Marcacci and Josh Hinck continue with poetry performance in the internet show called i-outlaw.
