The Love and Death of Jeremy
The Montreal Fringe Festival 2007 performance of euphoreador + friends

This performance was part of the 2007 Montreal Fringe Festival on June 9th. The creators and performers were Josh Hinck (lounge singer), Morgan Murray (banana man), David Schultz (Jeremy's best friend), and Franco Proietti (jazz cat). Sarah Gagnon-Turcotte filmed the performance. 'The Love and Death of Jeremy' is an eclectic performance to be sure. It incorporates music, poetry, humor and theatrics. The storyline starts with a coffin being carried then goes into the 'lounge singer' and moves through jazz with 'jazz cat' and absurdist poetry with 'banana man' to a cooking show with 'Jeremy's best friend' and more music. There is a very amusing couple of songs sung by 'Jeremy's best friend' at various points during the performance. The story continues through Jeremy's funeral and then into his wedding reception. This performance was worked on for the month preceeding the performance and was a very fun and creative opportunity for all involved. Enjoy!
