Long time ago but we were there!!

I found a couple of pictures of Joe at "Stop the City" in 1983.

We did a street theatre piece in front of St Paul's Cathedral, representing the Cold War as a chess game.

Nick was playing Pravda, Bill Ferguson is Andropov in one pic and Breznev in the other, Richard (on crutches), the KGB, and Alan a Solidarnosc member. Joe was the master of ceremonies. The white tux was borrowed from me and I still
