Our research focuses on an integration of behavioral, population, and community ecology, with an eye on conservation and management solutions. We study mammalian carnivores and their prey in Rocky Mountains and adjacent plains and rangelands. Along with our essential research partners, we have advanced the science and conservation of swift fox, American badgers, red fox, Canada lynx, wolverine, coyotes, black bear, mountain lion, and wolves. The below documentary on Saving Yellowstone highlights essential elements of our research process.
