About Me

Welcome to my website!

I have recently graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University where I conferred a Master of Arts in TESOL. For two years while I pursued my degree,  I worked in the Community English Program office and taught Advanced Conversation skills and Advanced ESL classes. Now I am teaching English as a Foreign Language at the Zayed Military Base in Abu Dhabi, Dubai.

While I recently conferred a MA degree in TESOL, I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish with certification to teach grades 7-12 in 2009.  During my student teaching experience I worked with students from diverse backgrounds, designing lesson plans to fit curriculum guidelines and to bring experiential learning to the students. In addition to attending school, I had volunteered teaching English to foreign students as a literacy instructor for over three years serving adults in Connecticut.

Included on this site, you will find some of my professional activities, moreover, you will find a collection of my academic work as I completed my degree.  If you have any questions or suggestions about this site, please feel free to email me at jordache463@gmail.com.
