In my position with Digital Insight I lead 10 consecutive projects for the Risk Management Business Team.  I reported to the project sponsor (a senior Intuit Vice President) as well as to the PMO, of which I was a member on loan to the business unit.  I managed projects across business units, regions and the enterprise; with influence at all levels of the organization.  I developed a network of contacts and I have targeted specific individuals to achieve project goals and objectives and to bring about change and understanding of the underlying cultural dynamics of the enterprise.  


I have a keen understanding of the end to end business processes and the critical IT dependencies as well as knowledge of additional regions and Enterprise needs.

My primary duties have included, but are not limited to: Managing projects across business units, regions and the enterprise; influencing all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction; I coach and mentors project team members; other project managers around determining project scope; resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; developing training plans; defining, recommendations and securing contractual agreements for services and products; coordinating requirements, scheduling implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms; developing requirements documents; project approval matrix; identifying project team training and tool needs; defining quality gates for each project methodology phase; defining critical success factors; establishing and managing the project warranty period.

Sr. Project Manager and principle driver with responsibility for IBM and off shore vendor who were provide vendor services in the completion of the various enterprise projects.  Sr. Project Manager for a diverse portfolio of IT Projects including, systems consolidation from legacy systems to an AS-400 platform, project prioritization, enterprise print centralization, systems upgrades, disaster planning and continuation of service, corporate relocation of systems, site build outs (including cabling), development of the Program Management Office and a member of the corporate Systems Development Lifer Cycle initiative. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: budgeting, resource allocation, and technical writing, customization of the Navigator Methodology to meet organizational needs. Member of the original Health Net of California Project Management Project Office, which established project methodology, mentoring and career pathing to the confederation of internal IT project managers.



1999 to 2000

Universal Care – hmo, Signal Hill, CA

Director of IT Operations (Network Operations CENTER)

Reported to the CIO, oversaw a staff of 25, with 7 direct reports. Drove operation   & Telecommunications projects to completion, implemented the Customer Service (Help Desk), NT Systems Operations, HP Host Operations, Technical Staff and Staff Analysts (Project Managers).  Initial implementation of HIPAA in the It components.  Senior project manager of and drove the completion of Y2K remediation, document scanning and network infrastructure maturation.  Implemented HP OpenView customer support software at the help desk.


Piloted and implemented Thin Client technology to 22 remote clinics with first year cost savings estimated at $460,000. Piloted and implemented fax server technology at the desktop with first year cost savings estimated at $37,000.  Implemented enterprise wide anti-virus applications.  Introduced Microsoft Project Manager as an MIS Tool.  Prepared and implemented disaster recovery process and procedures.  Implemented a 24x7 high volume call center.


1996 to 1999

University of Southern California - Care Medical Group, Inc., Los Angeles, CA

Managed the following groups: Medical Billing Systems Operations, Customer Service (HelpDesk), Technical Support, Telecommunications, NT Network Operations and DEC Alpha Operations.  Implemented Enterprise Scheduling and Billing Systems to 17 clinical operations, serving over 17 corporations under the USC umbrella.
