Jongjun Park (박종준)

Biography

Jongjun Park is an Ph.D candidate in Computing and Software department, McMaster University, Canada. He is a deputy director at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Republic of Korea and is currently on leave. He received his M.S. (2006) and B.S. (2004) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). Prior to studying at McMaster, he worked as a deputy direction at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety from 2015 to 2021 (and currently on leave) and was a senior researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) from 2006 to 2015. 

Research Interests

Jongjun Park's research interests are in the general area of data science/engineering and developing adaptive systems/applications. He currently focuses on timely-changing data, differentiating abnormal events and temporal normal patterns, and adaptive and efficient data-driven machine learning adaptation.
