POSTECH, Pohang (Nov. 2023)
My work, "Cavity magnonics with easy-axis ferromagnets: Critically enhanced magnon squeezing and light-matter interaction," was published as a letter in Physical Review B.
https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevB.108.L241404
If you're interested in magnons, I highly recommend checking it out.
The magnon squeezing is simply induced by applying a magnetic field perpendicular to the easy axis of the magnetic anisotropy.
This induced squeezing critically enhances the magnon-photon coupling strength.
The study also unifies the concepts of the superradiant phase transition and the magnetic phase transition.

Universal intrinsic orbital dynamics from Berry curvature in electronic two-band systems
Phys. Rev. B 112, 054441 (2025)
DOI: https://doi.org/10.1103/42mj-sh8x
This study reveals that the orbital angular momentum and its transport in electronic systems are generally determined solely by the band energy and the Berry curvature. The work was carried out independently, and I am grateful to Prof. Hyun-Woo Lee for his encouragement throughout the process.
Congratulations!
Celebrating 100 Citations and Looking Ahead (18th Aug. 2025)
Google Scholar indicates that my research papers have reached one hundred citations. Since 2020, during my second year of graduate school, through 2025, my first year as a postdoctoral researcher, I have published and uploaded nine papers. I am now preparing to submit another work on squeezed bosons, and my project on cavity quantum electrodynamics is also nearing completion. I am delighted to see my research progressing steadily and excited to move forward at my next affiliation in Alberta.
I sincerely appreciate the support and collaboration of my research colleagues and advisors.
Moving to Alberta, Canada (September 2025)
I will be joining the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta as a postdoctoral researcher starting September 8, 2025, supported by a Quantum Horizons Alberta (QHA) Fellowship.
I have now purchased my flight ticket.
I am very excited about this opportunity and look forward to the experience.

Diverging entanglement of critical magnons in easy-axis antiferromagnets
Phys. Rev. B 111, 094402 (2025)
DOI: https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevB.111.094402
This study theoretically investigates magnons in anisotropic antiferromagnets under a magnetic field, revealing that magnon entanglement is critically enhanced near the transition between noncollinear and collinear spin orders.
Congratulations!
