- Parents, if you're looking to step up and you want to help make the Scouting experience better for the boys, the District Committee and Commissioners Meeting is scheduled for March 5 at Jonesboro FUMC, from 7-8 pm. This is a great way to get an inside track on what's going on. There are also some open positions at the district level, and volunteer help always needed.
- The annual Scouting for Food food drive is scheduled for March 14-21, but you and your Cub Scout can get a head start on it now. This annual event helps collect canned goods and non-perishables to bring to area food banks, to help feed hungry families. See Ms. Nina for more information on how to get started.
- It may still be winter, but it's not too early to start planning for what makes scouting fun-camping! Twilight Camp registrations are already being taken, and Bert Adams Scout Reservation will have its Spring Fling Camping April 10-12. Stay tuned!
