Jonathan Adongo is a tenured Associate Professor of Economics in the Plaster School of Business at Missouri Southern State University where he currently teaches Health Economics, Introduction to Econometrics, and Intermediate Macroeconomics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Jenning A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. He has prior experience conducting economic policy research at a think tank in Southern Africa and working in San Francisco's technology consulting industry.
Jonathan’s current research interests focus on applied agency issues in financial markets. Within this field he has investigated topics in venture capital, private equity, and output forecasting. His research appears in journals such as Applied Economics, Journal of Private Equity, and Research in International Business and Finance.
