Professional career

Having received his fellowship from the Langley Porter Institute of the University of California at San Francisco, Jonathan B. Lauter, M.D., is a general and child and adolescent psychiatrist who serves as a clinician at the Refuah Health Center in Spring Valley and maintains his own private practice in Manhattan.  He has also served in several academic, clinical, and administrative positions, most recently as the director of ambulatory behavioral health services and associate professor of psychiatry at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. 

He has had a strong foundation in both traditional psychiatry including psychotherapy and in neurobehavioral disorders such as ADHD, OCD, Tourette’s syndrome, bipolar personality disorder, depression, and anxiety.
