Research interests

Broadly speaking, my interests are in palaeoclimatology and biogeochemistry, using the isotope geochemistry of biogenic silica and organic matter to reconstruct past changes in aquatic processes and the environment. A large focus of my work to date has been in the study of contemporary systems with an aim to improve understanding of the interface between modern processes and sediment records.
