Welcome to my website! I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the
WEALTHPOL Project at the University of Oxford and Fellow at Nuffield College. In December 2018 I successfully defended my PhD dissertation at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.

I am broadly interested in topics in the area of Comparative Politics, Political Economy, and Political Methodology. My current research project looks into the political and social consequences of bank credit. In my dissertation I studied what determines the provision of credit in politically controlled banks and how that affects political outcomes.

In 2017, I spent six months as a PreDoc at the Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis. Before, I was short-term visiting researcher at the Juan March Institute of the Carlos III University in Madrid in 2016. I hold an MSc in International Political Economy from LSE (2014) and obtained my BA in Political Science and Economics from Freie University in Berlin (2013).
