The Johns Creek Garden Association (JCGA) was formed along with a use agreement with the City of Johns Creek in April 2010 to oversee and manage the operations of the Newtown Park Community Garden and any other garden similarly established in partnership with the City.

All members of the organization pay annual dues and have equal voting rights and are encouraged to participate in monthly meetings, educational programs and social gardening events.
