John Heuzenroeder has performed as a tenor soloist with Opera Australia, at the International
Festivals in Sydney and Melbourne, and in many Theatres throughout
Germany. He is a member of the Ensemble in the City of Cologne´s Opera company.
has performed a very broad spectrum of operatic works with Conductors including Marcus Stenz, Simone Young, Marcus Proschner and
Konrad Junghänel. On the concert platform he worked with the Sydney,
Melbourne, Tasmanian and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras.
Highlights in 2015 included Quint: The Turn of the Screw and "The Diary of one who disappeared" (Janáček) in Cologne.
In addtion to his commitments in Cologne this year John sang Der Narr in Berg's Wozzeck for NTR ZaterdagMatine in Amsterdam's Concertgebouw and was invited to the Carl Orff Institute in Munich to sing Der Eselmann von "Die Kluge". He is currently preparing a new recording of Mozart cantatas and songs.
