Netiquette is a topic we discuss in classes using the internet.  Netiquette means acceptable social interactions on the internet.

Here are the big ideas:

1) Never share personal information online.
2) Nothing online is private.
3) Whatever you put on the internet is there forever.
4) Communications and posts need to always be polite.  Do not say anything online that you would not say to someone's face or to a public crowd.
5) Parents need to know what students are doing online.  This means you need to tell them what websites you use, why you use them, and what those websites do.
