Successful Book Launch (sort of)

I had a very special book launching for Last Respects in West Chester, PA (the town I based East Hastings on, the setting for my stories). Okay, so there was a snow storm that kept people away, and there was the nervousness of not knowing whether my novels would be delivered to the West Chester Book Outlet in time for the launch (they arrived 30 minutes before things were set to start). Still, I was joined by some dear friends who weathered the storm, and even one of my high school English teachers who instilled a love of literature and the written word back in the day. It was the first time I read my work in public and it definitely helped to be among friends and family. I've been scheduling other book events and looking forward to meeting more readers and, (dare I say it?) fans. Hope they're all as much fun as the first one.
