Overview of Project
In conjunction with Allen Hicken (University of Michigan) and Noppadon Kannika (ABAC Poll, Thailand) we presented a national random sample of over 8,000 Thai voters with a hypothetical electoral candidate prior to the July, 2011 elections. Varying key characteristics of this candidate, including party affiliation, electoral tier, and policy platform, we new insights into the key motivations of voter choice amongst the Thai electorate.
