What should and should not be in a fourth Matrix movie

Over the past few weeks, news has emerged that there will be a fourth Matrix movie with Lana Wachowski writing and directing it. And yes, it’s been as big a news as any in the film community, given that “The Matrix” was a seminal film in movie history, pioneering several filmmaking techniques and bringing about a new age in science fiction. While details have been murky at best, with only rumors of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss’s reprisal of their iconic roles, here are a few things that should and should not be in this sequel. Should: Apps In the past, Matrix films, programs ruled the world and were made into people. Since then, apps have been developed for all sorts of purposes, which could very well be the future of the Matrix. Joe Cianciotto.
Should not: Zion By the end of the “Matrix: Revolutions,” people made peace with the machines, and all is well. Having them cooped up like rats underground wouldn’t make sense. Joe Cianciotto. Should: Martial arts This is a given, and in all probability would still be in the fourth film. But hey, one never knows what direction they may suddenly take. Should not: Agendas Far too many films nowadays are pushing some sort of social or political agenda. The world of the Matrix is already filled with issues.
