As a gadget enthusiast, the latest, mind-blowing technologies that aid in daily life always excite me, but especially so when the device is particularly helpful to architects. Here are some of this year's most innovative devices that provide a higher level of convenience to artists.

Moleskin's smart writing kit: The set comes with the paper tablet, the Moleskin Pen+, and a Moleskin Notes App available on iOS and Android. With the pen, you can doodle or jot notes on the paper tablet, and the page is digitized, which can then be sent, stored, and edited on your phone or tablet.

Portable interactive display: This high-tech device is great for presentations. The software stores CAD drawings that can be displayed and manipulated on a surface.
