Be Not Easily Moved
"She told me a secret…
it went like this
Be not easily moved
Time’s stroke of hands wound backward,
be not easily moved
the caress of deep shadowed evenings
Be not easily moved
the intoxication of flowered, dusty skin’s frost
on cold bareness that begins your journey
Be not easily moved
the serenade in an acoustic shower,
vaulted ceiling waters, and only You.
Misty, marbled, remembrances
choked by time’s echo and a
collage of forgottens,
forget me not canyons
Be not easily moved
the thirsty thirst and backward
hot flashes, the journey of the curse of good
lovemaking haunting you,
while curled up and leftover, folded by the
verses and lyrics you dusted
one day, and one day again
"Your verse that empties
Filling the room
It’s the breathe of you
...Chances are its only once again
The ride that’s the kiss of you
A familiar undone, unfinished
Of what’s still softly
The breathe within what reminds me of you..."
"...fine wine tip toed
footprints no longer cold
head to tail
still dining on old money
heads a twirl
drunken intoxication from
wine from the winery
no longer cold
silver bubbled over
spills from the vein of the tap
foliage winter deep
wine barrels and press, rot in the center
vines echoed by ink
twist up the wall
of the cellar’s ghost
time’s breeze slowly departs
as sand tailors the glass
enough for any pirate’s taste of mint
wine from the winery no longer cold
new money spent as fast as carried over
sands tailored glass..."
OARS "...The folds of time once again won the
battle of a love story floating guided by
the oars and sheltered by a championed
light that only waits for its Olympian to
run its distance, strong as wisdom, deep
as the bottom breasted by the crystals of
the depth of the ice age that shed in old
crafting on water toward home...."
