2014 - 2015 Concert Schedule:

Friday October 17th 4:00p.m - Guest Artist Giff Howarth, Yamaha, will present a clinic on Percussion Sectionals and Sight Reading. (Music Bldg. 108) Free admission.

Monday October 27th 8:00pm.  - Featured works will include David Gillingham’s “Stained Glass” and a beautiful arrangement of Debussy’s “Sunken Cathedral.” (CH-Concert Hall)

Monday January 26th 8:00pm.  - We will have a guest conductor, Mr. Rick Minotte conduct the work he commissioned, “Dreamers of Dreams” and we will premier Nathan Daughtrey’s  “Spitfire 2.5 for Tuba, euphonium and Percussion” written for the JMU ensemble and Kevin Stees. The balance of the program will be the music we will play in Tampa. (CH-Concert Hall)

Saturday April 25th at 2:00pm.  -
5th Marimba Orchestra and Friends concert. (This is part of the Forbes’ “family friendly” series and will sell out so I suggest you get tickets early.) The fantastic concert will feature guests: Andy Connell, JMU Madison Singers, and members of the JMU Brass Band. A super production! (CH-Concert Hall)
