What's the Best About Our Organization?

The Black Student Alliance is a leader in programming on James Madison University's campus. Each year BSA hosts a full week of events, one in the fall semester and one in the spring. This year the organization is introducing "Forward Movement Week", which will be a week filled with events geared toward the forward movement of the black community. In the spring, we will have our annual Ebony Exposure Week. Along side these full week of events, BSA hosts Lounge Expos8, where students on campus are able to showcase their talent!
The organization also participates in monthly service in the local Harrisonburg community.
We aim to enrich the JMU experience not only for students of color but the larger community intellectually, culturally, physically, and socially. Come out and support BSA. Check out our bi-weekly general body meetings because you're guaranteed to enjoy them! We pride ourselves in our outreach to the JMU community and our willingness to have fun!
