I am a PhD Candidate at the UW Department of Economics. I am on the job market this year and will be available for interviews at the ASSA meetings in Boston, January 3rd-5th. I am primarily interested in financial economics, banking, international finance and macroeconomics.

My job market paper focuses on the effect of deregulation on financial markets' discipline. Job market paper title:

"Deregulation, Underwriter Reputation and Clustering of Poor Certification                                                                                 in the US High Yield Corporate Bond Market"

Before my PhD, I worked at The World Bank where I focused on finance and private sector development issues in the Latin American region. Prior to joining the Bank, I was a lead analyst in the structured finance unit at Moody’s Investors’ Service where I analyzed and rated several securitized bonds issued in the Argentinean capital market and in other Latin American markets.
