Uniting with God is the purpose of mysticism, the heart of spirituality.

Self-inquiry (jnana yoga): concentrating on God using key thoughts such as:
Who is? (Who am I?) and God is (I am [that])

Surrender and service to God (bhakti yoga): synonymous with self-inquiry.

"Know thyself" was a prominent Ancient Egyptian and Greek proverb.

Plotinus was a notable ancient Greek philosopher who also emphasized "the One".

Enlightenment, Liberation, Theory of Everything

God (as defined at the top of this page, i.e. who is, the One, our true Self, who we really are, the Heart, the essence of all things, the source of life energy, intuition, and conscience, the source of the mind and thought, existence, awareness, consciousness, the present moment, the Truth, the infinite, etc.) is ever-present and unchanging.

Life is the phenomenal universe (Maya in Indian philosophy) and perpetually growing oneness with God.
(Beings who’re more one with God than humans are, such as the Creator, beings to whom worlds are thoughtforms, solar systems like atoms, and humans like cells, goddesses and gods, angels, celestial, legendary, magical, and other supernatural beings, extraterrestrials, and spirits, exist in higher and more majestic dimensions, such as heavens. Beings who're less one with God than humans are include animals, plants, and minerals. Growth spans across lifetimes through reincarnation.)

This can be compared to a logarithmic (equiangular) spiral:

God can be compared to the origin, infinity.
(ϴ  - using the polar equation r = aebϴ, or ϴ   using r = aeb(-ϴ), etc.)

And life can be compared to the spiral, which can be seen as a folded wave.

The origin is the Heart at which the wave's amplitude approaches zero and its frequency approaches infinity; God, oneness, and Truth are peace and love.

"You see pictures moving on the screen in a cinema show. When you are intent on the pictures you are not aware of the screen. But the pictures cannot be seen without the screen behind. The world stands for the pictures and Consciousness stands for the screen. The Consciousness is pure. It is the same as the Self which is eternal and unchanging."
Talks With Ramana Maharshi, First Edition, Talk 453

"The sage is characterised by eternal and intense activity. His stillness [zero amplitude, peace] is like the apparent stillness of a fast rotating [infinity frequency, love] top (gyroscope) [or UFO]. Its very speed cannot be followed by the eye and so it appears to be still. Yet it is rotating."
- Talks With Ramana Maharshi, First Edition, Talk 599

A perfectly balanced (zero amplitude, peace) and infinitely fast spinning (infinity frequency, love) top or UFO (or frisbee)

Perfect peace and infinite love are one and the same, and interdependent, infinite love enables perfect peace to be imperturbable, and perfect peace enables infinite love to be sustainable.

A low amplitude (zero, peace) high frequency (infinity, love) wave

This type of wave being described corresponds to the state of bliss, serene (zero amplitude, peace) ecstasy (infinity frequency, love), which is referred to in the Sanskrit description of God, "Satcitananda", "Existence-Consciousness-Bliss". Accordingly, the highest frequency category of brainwaves, which are also the lowest in amplitude, are gamma brainwaves, which are associated with meditation and other transcendental, blissful, and optimal mental states. Here's one video containing gamma brainwaves that also provides information about them in the description. Also, here are some images of gamma brainwaves for comparison with the image above.

To summarize, we forever grow towards Godliness, oneness, and our true Self and Heart, becoming nobler, i.e. dedicated to universal, world, and inner peace (zero amplitude, peace), and stronger (infinity frequency, love), like a logarithmic spiral forever approaching its origin.

Oneness

"Oneness" expresses the Truth in a word.

"Oneness" by definition communicates the interconnectedness of the essence of all things, the half of the Truth that relates to zero amplitude, peace, "all things" in the description "essence of all things", breadth, and all-pervasiveness, as in the expansion created by extensively interconnecting and networking with others.
"Oneness" by definition also communicates the singularity of essence of all thingsthe half of the Truth that relates to infinity frequency, love, "essence" in the description "essence of all things", depth, and almightiness, as in the power of singularity of focus and one-pointed concentration.
(For more about these two halves, see the "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love" section below)

"Oneness" also exemplifies the Truth and its own meaning, interconnecting all the spiritual truths with a single word. This adds a second dimension to its meaning, the first being its definitions, and the second its exemplification.

"Oneness" includes both receiving and giving, peace and love, indicates synergy and equality, and is pure and egoless.

"Oneness", referred to as the "Law of One", according to higher-dimensional sources is the primary (number "one") uni("one")versal law.

"Oneness" can be seen as the positive counterpart term for "nonduality" ("not two" [but one], "Advaita"), and as the underlying meaning of "bipartisan" ("both parties" [as one]).

"Oneness" summarizes the golden rule (Treat others as you want to be treated) in one word.

"Oneness", like zero, infinity, fractals, and holons (see the "Enlightenment, Liberation, Theory of Everything" section above and the "Spirituality and Socio-Politico-Economics" section below), is a wonder.

Equality

Another key principle closely related to God, oneness, and Truth is equality.

Just as one meaning of oneness is identity, the same is true for equality.

Equality is the principle implied in the concepts of equanimity (peace), and equilibrium, equipoise, and equalization (balance).

The "=" (equals) sign is a key mathematical symbol.

The Omega and the Alpha

God (as defined at the top of this page, i.e. who is, the One, our true Self, who we really are, the universal spirit, the Heart, the essence of all things, the source of life energy, intuition, and conscience, the source of the mind and thought, existence, awareness, consciousness, the present moment, the Truth, the supreme being, etc.) is the Omega and the Alpha, the end and the beginning, both the end goal of evolution and beginning source of life at once.

(As the information above suggests, the sun in Plato's Allegory of the Cave can be thought of as God [as defined at the top of this page])

As the "Enlightenment, Liberation, Theory of Everything" section above explains, zero amplitude and infinity frequency, peace and love, are the two fundamental qualities of God, oneness, and Truth, which unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances these two fundamental qualities, just as in the "Middle Way" philosophy of Buddhism.

This table lists words whose meanings are related to these two fundamental qualities, coupled into pairs.

The diagrams illustrate life's pattern of repeated falling down and getting up again, that as we become more conscious we become more infallible and fall (for) less, and how the two fundamental qualities of God, oneness, and Truth interact to create life's rhythm, which is often compared with the swing of pendulums, which are often included in discussions about perpetual motion, the subject of a following section. Whirligear/whirligig/buzzsaw/button and string/gyro disc toys too are significant, their rhythm too is an excellent example of the God-fall-separation-return Omega-Alpha yin-yang peace-love light-sound evolution-creation inhalation-exhalation pattern. In addition to tops, UFOs, frisbees, gyroscopes, pendulums, whirligear/whirligig/buzzsaw/button and string/gyro disc toys, gyro rings and yoyos too are notable devices, their spinning/rotating motion is sustained when it's both harmonious (peace) and sufficiently powerful (love).

1. There can only be one truth about the two fundamental qualities of existence that pertain to optimal life, harmony, and balance, and the concept of zero amplitude and infinity frequency, peace and love, is definitive. This is why it makes sense to think that zero amplitude and infinity frequency, peace and love, is the underlying meaning of yin and yang. The yin yang symbol can be compared to the previous image, with the white half representing light, and the black half representing sound:

Here are examples of yin and yang energies.

Middle Way philosophy: uniting, merging, combining, blending, intermixing, joining, synthesizing, syncretizing, integrating, harmonizing, equalizing, neutralizing, and balancing yin and yang, zero amplitude and infinity frequency, peace and love, light and sound.

Averageness: creating the most beautiful product by uniting, merging, combining, blending, intermixing, joining, synthesizing, syncretizing, integrating, harmonizing, equalizing, neutralizing, and balancing the best parts of all.

Destiny and Free Will

(Continued footnotes to the table in the "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love" section)

2. The truth is both destiny and free will (compatibilism in philosophy), destined free will and free willed destiny, both surrender and service to God, surrender with service and service with surrender. The universe is orderly, not random ("everything happens for a reason"), and unfolding in perfect accordance with eternal, immutable laws, though the laws, being infinite in scope, will never be fully known. So destiny exists, and it's appropriate to gratefully receive it and surrender to God (as defined at the top of this page, i.e. the One, our true Self, the universal spirit, the Heart, the Truth, etc.) At the same time, though the laws explain and predict behavior, they don't control, impose, or force it, we're still conscious agents with the freedom and power to choose. So free will exists, and it's appropriate to lovingly (passionately) give of ourselves and serve God. This is an example of how truth, a matter of oneness, self-consistency, and objectivity, is often a combination of perspectives and middle between extremes, rather than one or the other.

Numerology: divining with numbers.

Perpetual Motion

(Continued footnotes to the table in the "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love" section)

3. God, the perfect and infinite, universal and foundational source of life energy, intuition, and conscience, is the one and only example of perpetual motion, and the ideal, perfectly efficient and infinitely powerful life-giving being to aspire to match, such as for collectives, individual souls, and machines such as energy generators and UFOs. Zero amplitude, perfect balance (equilibrium), and perfect peace mean perfect smoothness, zero vibration, zero friction in the sense of conflict and energy dissipation, and perfect efficiency. Infinity frequency, infinitely fast spin, and infinite love mean infinite power.

(The reason why no finite entity can achieve perpetual motion is that as stated in the second law of thermodynamics, the entropy of isolated systems always increases over time, nothing [no finite entity, that is] lasts forever, all break down eventually without an external energy source. This is due to operational inefficiencies which dissipate energy, such as through friction and heat. Also, as stated in the first law of thermodynamics, the total energy of isolated systems is constant and finite, all run out of energy eventually without an external energy source. However, God, the one, infinite, absolute source of life energy, intuition, and conscience, and the theoretical ideal, is zero amplitude, i.e. perfectly efficient, and infinity frequency, i.e. infinitely powerful, which makes God the one and only example of perpetual motion, which the universe aspires to match.

The third law of thermodynamics too is interesting, it describes the relationship between absolute zero, infinity, and perfection.)

Perpetual motion: understanding God as the one and only example of perpetual motion.

Zero-point energy: understanding the relationship between God and zero-point energy.

Light and Sound

(Continued footnotes to the table in the "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love" section)

4. Here are some of the many sources that identify spiritual light and sound as the two fundamental qualities of God:
The Arcturians (see the definition of "LIGHT-LOVE OR LOVE-LIGHT" in the glossaries of the Arcturian Star Chronicles)
The Pleiadians (e.g. 1:31:37 of this video)

Also, here's a discussion by Jonathan Goldman about this subject. If light and sound are the two fundamental qualities of God, then they should be able to be matched with the other descriptions of the two fundamental qualities of God, oneness, and Truth, in which case light would correspond with yin, zero amplitude, peace, etc., and sound with yang, infinity frequency, love, etc.

Spirituality and Socio-Politico-Economics

(Continued footnotes to the table in the "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love" section)

5. The state of God, oneness, and Truth unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances two fundamental qualities, yin and yang, zero amplitude and infinity frequency, peace and love, light and sound, and the Divine Feminine and Masculine are another synonymous pair, as the Enlightenment, Liberation, Theory of Everything Audio Explanation above explains.

6. The state of God, oneness, and Truth unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances the best parts of the alternative (alternative lifestyles movement) and main streams, and the alternative and main streams too correlate with yin and yang, etc., just as the alternative-stream tends to be associated with peace, light, and feminine values, while the mainstream tends to be associated with love (passion), sound, and masculine values.

7. The state of God, oneness, and Truth unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances the best parts of Eastern and Western lifestyles, and Eastern and Western lifestyles too correlate with yin and yang, etc., just as Eastern cultures are strongly associated with female goddesses such as Amaterasu, Mother Earth in the Native American tradition (scientists believe Native Americans originally migrated from Asia), and Quan Yin, while Western cultures are strongly associated with male gods such as Jehovah, Thor, and Zeus, and just as the alternative-stream tends to be influenced by Eastern philosophies, while the mainstream Earth establishment is headquartered in the West. This could help explain the dispersion of humans on Earth, that humans and the masculine, mainstream Earth establishment originated in the West, just as scientists believe humans originated in Africa, and the most feminine, alternative-oriented groups migrated the furthest away, to East Asia and beyond.

8. In the state of oneness, the community and individual converge into one, as in the saying, "One for all, all for one". Oneness (with all) means both harmony (with all) and identity (with the One All) at once. As the "Oneness" section explains, oneness means both interconnection and singularity at once. Similarly, oneness, including on the level of the individual, means both (1) togetherness, cocreation, collaboration, cooperation, coordination, combination, and interdependence (community) and (2) altogetherness, wholeness, totalness, entireness, completeness, absoluteness, and independence (sovereign individuality), at once. The concept of holons, which describes units in unions as both parts and wholes at once, is similar. Accordingly, the state of God, oneness, and Truth unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances the best parts of communal and individualistic values, and community and individuality too correlate with yin and yang, etc., just as alternative and Eastern lifestyles tend to involve communal values, while mainstream and Western lifestyles tend to involve individualistic values.

9. The state of God, oneness, and Truth unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances the best parts of left and right-wing politics, and left and right-wing politics too correlate with yin and yang, etc., just as left-wing politics tends to be based on communal values, while right-wing politics tends to be based on individualistic values. It's notable that politics tends towards an equilibrium between the left and right, and aspires for nonpartisan/bipartisan action.

10. Left-wing politics are generally considered liberal, and right-wing conservative. these terminologies are chosen largely in relation to the traditional masculine, mainstream, right-wing establishment, which it’s the conservative position to preserve, and the liberal one to break free from. From a universal perspective, on the whole actually the position associated with peace, light, femininity, community, and left-wing politics is the conservative, preservative one, while the position associated with love, sound, masculinity, individuality, and right-wing politics is the liberal, unrestrictive one. It's notable that the United States Democratic Party, the left-wing, liberal United States political party, used to be the conservative United States political party, while the United States Republican Party, the right-wing, conservative United States political party, used to be the liberal one.

11. The state of God, oneness, and Truth unites, merges, combines, blends, intermixes, joins, synthesizes, syncretizes, integrates, harmonizes, equalizes, neutralizes, and balances the best parts of communism/socialism and capitalism, and communism/socialism and capitalism too correlate with yin and yang, etc., just as communism/socialism is based on communal values, while capitalism is based on individualistic values. It's notable that successful modern socio-politico-economic systems, including those in China and the US, mix both communist/socialist and capitalist qualities, while extreme forms of both communism/socialism and capitalism have proved unsuccessful. It's also notable that communist/socialist nations have historically tended to have been relatively Eastern ones such as China and the Soviet Union, while capitalism has historically been associated with relatively Western nations such as England and the US.

12. Ideally economic growth would be steady, i.e. remain close to the healthy, peak, equilibrium, balanced state, rather than undergo dramatic ups and downs as in volatile stock market and boom and bust economic cycles, another manifestation of the God-fall-separation-return Omega-Alpha yin-yang peace-love light-sound evolution-creation inhalation-exhalation pattern described in the "The Omega and the Alpha" and "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love" sections above. The bull and bear phases of stock market cycles and recovery and recession phases of economic cycles ("recovery" referring to return phases as a whole and "recession" to fall phases as a whole) too correlate with yin and yang, etc., just as typical graphs of stock market and economic cycles look something like this:

Omega, yin, peace, light        Alpha, yang, love, sound

Stock market charts too provide helpful information.

Here's a video that explains the spiritual-mental-emotional factors involved in business (economic) cycles (starting at 5:03), and the God-fall-separation-return Omega-Alpha yin-yang peace-love light-sound evolution-creation inhalation-exhalation pattern in general. It's notable that both the United States' Great Recession of 2008 and Great Depression of the 1930s were preceded by periods of extreme excess.

The image above is meant to illustrate spiritual, energetic cycles in economic terms. Spiritual and economic cycles don't completely align together, similar to how stock market and economic cycles don't either. Spiritual cycles precede economic cycles, similar to how stock market cycles typically anticipate economic cycles. Spiritual cycles begins their fall phases when inflation, interest rates, and prices become excessive, yet the economy is still in its upwards phase, similar to how bear markets typically anticipate economic recessions, and begin their return phases when positive anticipation, prediction, and expectation just begin to return, yet the economy is still in its downwards phase, similar to how bull markets typically anticipate economic recoveries. Thus, spiritual and stock market cycles are the reflections and effects of human behavior in the present moment, while economic cycles lag behind and are the eventual long-term economic reflections and effects of previous human behavior.

13. Spirituality provides guidelines for action, including with regards to socio-politico-economics. During return phases, to increase movement towards the balanced state of God, oneness, and Truth more giving is appropriate, while during fall phases, to reduce movement away from the balanced state of God, oneness, and Truth more letting go is appropriate. The concept of “buy low, sell high” is similar, it’s advantageous to invest in markets that will rise, and divest from ones that will fall. Similarly, recovering markets involve increased investment and demand for capital, while recessive markets involve decreased investment and demand for capital.

The Cycles of Time

The "Cycles/Wheel of Time" (Kalachakra) concept (especially the Greek, Indian, and Persian "Great Year" concepts, Greek "Ages of Man", and Hindu "yugas"), the corresponding astrological ages, as well as the various levels of the spiritual planes and their corresponding chakras and elements (see the "The Elements and Theory of Evolution" section on the Spiritual Healing page), match with the God-fall-separation-return Omega-Alpha yin-yang peace-love light-sound evolution-creation inhalation-exhalation concept described in the "The Omega and the Alpha", "Yin and Yang, Zero Amplitude and Infinity Frequency, Peace and Love", and "Spirituality and Socio-Politico-Economics" sections above, the symmetric descending and ascending phases of which are confirmed by numerous sources, which you can see by searching for "yugas" images online.

Time is cyclical in nature, and made up of cycles which are made up of cycles ad infinitum, for instance it's made up of galactic/astrological cycles, which are made up of yearly cycles, which are made up of monthly cycles, which are made up of daily cycles, and so on. Even our analog clocks are arranged as circles (cycles), and count daily cycles, which are made up of hourly cycles, which are made up of minutely cycles, which are made up of secondly cycles, and so on.

Circles

Here are some reasons why circles are divine and ideal, such as for organizing structures, such as the one united circle of free equals concept suggested on the United Earth page:

As the “Enlightenment, Liberation, Theory of Everything” section explains, God, oneness, and Truth are related to the numbers one, zero, which is similar to the inverse of infinity, 1/∞, and infinity, at once. The same is true for circles, circles are the shapes whose number of sides is, depending on how you look at it, one (one continuous, smooth circumference), zero (zero vertices), and infinity (a circle being the shape a regular polygon becomes in the limit as its number of sides approaches infinity), at once.

Circles symbolize equality, which is closely related to God, oneness, and Truth, all points on a circle are equidistant from the center, and circles are closely related to regular polygons, which are equiangular and equilateral.

Circles are the shapes implied in the concept of "cycles", which also relate to spin/rotation, the energy flow-related concepts of "circulation", such as of currency, and "circuit", such as of electric current, and in the concepts "well-rounded" and "full circle".

Circles are the shape used to indicate the key number "0", and also the letter "O", which happens to be the first letter of the word "Oneness".

Creation

This pattern has circular, fractal, holonic, isometric (equality-based), and sixfold properties, many natural phenomena such as snowflakes have sixfold properties. The largest circle can represent our Creator's Creator, the second largest circles can represent beings like our Creator, the third largest can represent beings like us, and the fourth can represent beings like our creations including our thoughtforms (dreams). “The Star Maker” above explains that we're created by our Creator through thought, our thoughtforms have real energetic substance and consciousness and can grow to create thoughtforms of their own, and so on. Although this not-drawn-to-scale picture is finite, the pattern continues infinitely in both directions of scale, and each circle grows with time. It's also analogous to some of the relationships in the physical universe, in which there are centers of superclusters, around which revolve galactic centers, around which revolve stars, around which revolve planets, around which revolve moons, which themselves can have satellites.

Meditation

Meditation is an exercise that clears and strengthens the spirit, mind, emotions, and is the heart of all spiritual practices, yet doing it effectively is challenging. What can be helpful is having words such as these in front of you and saying them aloud:

God
Oneness
Truth
The unknown
Zero  Infinity
Who is?  God is
Thank you  I love you
Peace  Love
Freedom  Happiness
Surrender  Service
Perfectly  Infinitely
For all  Unconditionally

I've found that the key to meditating effectively is lowering your amplitude, creating peace, limitlessly. So words such as these too can be extremely helpful:

Lower amplitude
More thanks, peace, surrender

Combining this with other spiritual tools such as concentrating on the breath, sacred geometry such as the Tree of Life on the home page, light art such as the images linked to in the "Evidence of Heavens, Higher-Dimensional Light Realities" section above, music, crystals, incense, candles, and essential oils creates an extremely powerful meditation and healing exercise.

Spirituality, Philosophy, Math, and Physics

Advaita Vedanta philosophy asserts that, Brahman, i.e. God (as defined at the top of this page, i.e. our true Self, the Heart, the source of the mind and thought, existence, awareness, consciousness, the infinite, the absolute, etc.) alone is absolutely real, or true.

Whole, perfect, complete, total, entire, ultimate, final, absolute, supreme, qualities such as these pertain only to the infinite, as finite, measurable, changing entities are necessarily limited, and able to be improved unto infinity.

Similarly, Godel’s incompleteness theorems demonstrate that all formal axiomatic systems are incomplete, there will always be truths that exist beyond the scope of any such finite system.

Presumably, especially considering the relationship between the infinite and finite entities in general, this applies to physics theories. In physics, there's a quest for a Theory of Everything that explains everything in the universe. Here's a lecture by Stephen Hawking in which he concludes that Godel’s incompleteness theorems indicate that there's no such ultimate physics theory. While physics theories have accomplished amazing things, and while there are surely beautiful, powerful physics theories out there waiting to be discovered, it’s not possible to achieve a perfect explanation of everything in the universe. There's currently a search for a theory that will reconcile general relativity with quantum mechanics, which themselves superseded the earlier system of classical mechanics, which itself was groundbreaking when it was first formulated. This refining process will continue unto infinity.

For these reasons, while the Theory of Everything above may not be as complex and technical as usual physics Theory of Everythings, it's notable in that it's a theory about the infinite, which enables it to be a true explanation of “everything”.
