About Me
My name is Jasmine Ku‘uipolani Lee and I am from Waikele, Hawai‘i. My hobbies include reading, playing video games, and dancing hula. I'd pick dogs over cats, Pepsi over Coca Cola, and dark chocolate over milk chocolate every day.
I attended Stanford University, where I received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with the class of 2013. While in school, I was actively involved in the Stanford American Indian Organization, Hawaii Club, and Hui O Hawaii and held two jobs: one as a Recreation Supervisor in our student gym and the other as the Community Manager for the Muwekma-Tah-Ruk dormitory.
After graduating, I moved to Pacifica, California and worked as a Software Analyst for Accenture on the Ohio Integrated Eligibility System and the Eligibility Integrated Application System for the state of Iowa. Throughout my time with the company (October 2013 - October 2014), I learned to develop rules in Oracle Policy Modeling and run basic queries in SQL.
The Portfolio
The purpose of this portfolio is to display the design skill set I had when I applied to the Masters in Industrial Design program at the Academy of Arts in San Francisco. The entries in this portfolio include projects for my courses at Stanford University and tasks undertaken during my internships as well as my own side projects and personal hobbies. Thank you for taking the time to look through my past work.
