My research interests are primarily in the propagation of classical fields, mainly:

• Nondiffracting propagation of wavefields

• Solutions of the Helmholtz and Paraxial Wave equation: Mathieu, Parabolic, and Ince-Gaussian beams

• Laser resonators

• Numerical methods of special functions

• Quantum and classical billiards

• Applications of fractional calculus in optics and mechanics
