Matt 25 37-40"Then those 'sheep' are going to say, 'Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?' Then the King will say, 'I'm telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.' (Msg)
As I was roaming around different Spanish learning sites today I saw an ad for LoMás Spanish Immersion Television. I have to tell you, I was pretty interested. I went to the site and watched a few demos and checked out the price structure. For 9.99 a month, I think this might be a great resource. I'll sign up in the next day or so and write up a review in June.
Jennifer and I were married on March 8th, but we werent able to take our honeymoon unti May 3rd. We have a ton of pics and movies, not that kind =(, and I'll be posting them soon.
Several months ago I sat in a Mexican restuarant with my good friend Esteban. Stephen, or Esteban, is a world class traveler by my standards. He as been to so many excellent Latin American destinations and it is always great to hear stories of his travels. The only down side is that is infectious. On that evening I had decided that I would take my first trip and to keep it "safe" and to keep Jen's (My lovely wife) blood pressure down, I decided that I would go to Mexico. Cuernavaca to be exact. Beautiful city from what I hear. <MORE>
My friend and compañado Jake sent me a cool link this weekend. It is called Live Mocha and basically it is a web version of Rosetta Stone, which is some of the leading language learning software available. At this time, Live Mocha is free and I highly recommend it to people of all levels.
Hey, my name is Jim (Obviously) and this is my boring webpage. Truthfully, I think all personal webpages are boring but mine is particulary so. However, it is a great place for me to store links, pictures, and information about myself that I want to share
I am a hobbiaholic. I am one of those people that tend to jump from thing to thing but never get really good at anything. At one time I was into online web games. Meridian 59, Everquest, and Tribes were big ones for me. I used to play soccer but it was too dangerous, so I began coaching but I tired of the parents (The kids were terrific).
I was able to learn the guitar and I began writing and recording my own songs. You can hear many of them by going to my soundclick link. I am currently learning Spanish.
I began learning Spanish after my return from Mexico. I was there with my church on a ministry called "Mission to Mexico". You can read about the details in the link to the left. While I was in Mexico I had the strongest desire that I did not want to return and not be able to speak to the locals. I didn't want to return and not be able to talk to the kids and listen to what they were telling me.
