“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” Prov 18:10 (NASB)

Do you want to run to THAT tower?! Call on the Name above all names! Jehovah-sabaoth, the Lord of hosts!

Do you need deliverance?!

Are you at the end of your rope? Do you feel exceedingly afraid? Has your hope left you- run out? Are you left without resources, not knowing where to turn? Are you adrift emotionally, out to sea? Have the floodwaters overwhelmed you so that all is lost and there is nothing on the horizon? Have all options been denied you, run out? From your vantage point, has the end come?

Then, turn now to the One who is the answer- Who has the answer, Jehovah-sabaoth. Let’s turn to Him in our dire, extreme time of need. He will deliver because He is our Deliverer! He is our God who can do anything! He can make something out of nothing, He can order chaos into alignment. He can calm the wind and waves because He commands them! He can defeat the fiercest storm or foe! He can give when others cannot or will not. We must turn to Him in our affliction, at our wit’s end we must call out to Him to be saved- delivered!

Kay Arthur, in her book, LORD, I Want to Know You, makes an important point that we must come in righteousness. Are you righteous in God’s eyes because you have accepted the gospel truth that Jesus died on a cross to pay the price for your sins- bled and died for you- and was raised to life on the third day!? Have you accepted His free gift of salvation? Are you washed by the blood of the Lamb? Has His blood atoned for your sin? Confess to Him you are a sinner and need His free gift of salvation- He will cover your sin. Listen to me, you cannot cover your own. There is nothing YOU can do to inherit eternal life, it has been done FOR you already- will you accept it? “’For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.’” John 3:16 (NASB)

You see the above verse? Re-read it. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” Prov 18:10 (NASB)

You must run into this strong tower in righteousness. "...and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7b (NASB) "...you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. from 1 Peter 1:18-19 (NASB). “’For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.’” John 3:16 (NASB)

You can call out like this: “Jehovah-sabaoth, save me! Help me! Deliver me!” And He will. His way. He is the way, the truth and the life. Trust Him. Put your faith in Christ. Now call to Him!

If you are in the fight of your life, turn to Jehovah-sabaoth.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” Prov 18:10 (NASB)

“’For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.’” John 3:16 (NASB)

“…but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 (NASB)

“…and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.” 1 John 2:2 (NASB)

For My Sake.” -Isaiah 1:18; Isaiah 43:25-26; Isaiah 44:22

"Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;

Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

"I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake…"

"Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;

Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

"I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake,

And will not remember thy sins."

Been wandering in the dark… a burdened, heavy heart,

But you have shed Your light, that all my sins will be white as snow.

And this captivity, this bondage holding me…

Well, You have claimed release, for captives just like me,

Now I can see.

"Put me in remembrance: let us plead together:

Declare thou, that thou mayest be justified."

"Put me in remembrance: let us plead together:

Declare thou, that thou mayest be justified."

"I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins…"

This merry-go-round and round—refusing to be found,

But you’ve been telling me I can be free…

And dealing with the past, the bitterness that lasts

Well, You have claimed release, through forgiving.

"…Return unto me;"

"Return unto me;

For I have redeemed thee."

"I have redeemed thee."

"I have redeemed thee."

My Church

Breathe,

I breathe, life

You

give me,

hovering o’er my deep…

In the beginning

You were there,

Word

made flesh,

You’d come again to seek and save lost lambs

that You made

when You, God, made man

with Your hands from clay

and fashioned all his days…

Sing,

songs.

Song of Songs,

He sings

over you,

His love,

words of truth

Song of songs…

but, you sing your own song,

clashing cymbals, noisy gongs, but, He’ll sing for you…

Dreams

He gave you,

plans

He still has for you

for your good and not your harm,

for your good and future...

but, you’ve been chasing wind,

dreams He never had for you, but, He’ll bring you back…

Peace

He left with you,

then you left Him

how He longs for your return

to His side, His bride,

~His church~

brethren, sister, spouse,

Beloved,

of His house...

but, you have wandered far, foreign lands, a broken body-

would He ask,

"Where, have you been?, my love, my friend? How I’ve longed for your return to My side, my bride,

~My church~

brethren, sister, spouse,

Beloved,

of My house

children.

Let the little children come to Me, the kingdom is for such as these. Let the little children come; don’t hold them back.

And you,

come back to Me again,

come back to Me again,

come back, I’ve called you friend-

My church."

--Lyrics and Music by Jill Riter

Let's pray that we may be found abiding in Him and not ashamed at His coming.

Blessings.
