Jieliang Hong 洪杰梁
About me
I am an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics, Southern University of Science and Technology in China, starting from the summer of 2023. Before that, I was a postdoc in the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, hosted by Prof. Leonid Mytnik, from 2021 to 2023. I obtained my Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematics, University of British Columbia under the supervision of Prof. Edwin Perkins. Before coming to UBC I got my bachelor degree in Mathematics from Peking University.
I am interested in probability theory and its applications. Recently I have been working on measure-valued diffusions, in particular the super-Brownian motion.
