I am a principal research scientist at HP Labs. My research has focused on several kinds of "architecture": I am currently investigating power and cost efficient system architectures for web-scale computing environments; previously I did research on computer architecture and grid computing at University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also spent time at CMU and Peking University studying software architecture. I am generally interested in computer systems, energy efficiency, as well as their interactions and implications to human society. You can find my CV here.
