JICA training "Operating Management of Earthquake, Tsunami, and Volcano Observation System"

Welcome to JICA training "Operating Management of Earthquake, Tsunami, and Volcano Observation System" in Nagoya University

In January 2010, we had sad news of earthquake disaster from Haiti. It is very hard to detect the large earthquakes in our understanding. However, some important information on earthquakes should rescue many people from earthquake disaster. In order to mitigation in each country, we study and discuss the operating management of the earthquake, tsunami, and volcano observation system in the world based on the existing condition in each country. As we have an advantageous situation to have training in the university, participants discuss with researchers and referrer the many research results in the library.
We hope big steps of participants at the closing of training on March 2011 and their action plans should be full of spirits. We also hope the training to be extending as the international collaboration and cooperation.
