College Corner updated:
The Jackson Polar Bears are off to a good start this season, after winning their 2nd straight game last Friday night at Green High School, with a final score of 33-13.
The win puts the Polar Bears at 2-0 on the season.
This Friday will be our toughest test thus far. Toledo St. Francis de Sales will be heading down to Robert Fife Stadium with a tremendous offensive attack, led by RB, Lamar Carswell. Lamar has nearly 600 yards on the ground and 9 TDs in their first 2 games this season. We will need a total TEAM effort to contain their offense and win week 3.
It should be an electrifying night... See you Friday & GO BEARS!!!
2014 Stats will be coming soon... (As soon as Coach Balderson can figure out how to get them on here!!!)

Jim Bell graduate from Youngstown Ursurline, Ohio State Defensive Lineman, and former NFL player speaks to the Jackson Football team.
Jim's message was to challenge the young men to focus on 3 areas of their character.
1) Take responsibility for your legacy.
-- Be that example of your best self all the time.
2) Fight for your dream.
-- On days your not feeling your best you still have to act your best.
3) Carry a small 'what if' bag.
-- Don't take the unnecessary risks and leave yourself asking 'what if' I didn't do this or that.
