I began my professional education with a general training in all major branches of Physics with emphasis in experimental work. I later specialized in Optics, working in projects that demanded the design and implementation of optical set-ups (interferometers, digital hologram recording, optical metrology), combined with data processing and numerical computations. I continued by transferring into Computational Photography, doing research that required prototyping/calibration of Plenoptic cameras and subsequent algorithmic processing.
