I was asked, in December 2014, to visit St James The Greater, Eastbury,  to present an evening of prose and poetry, to help them raise money in order to be able to build a much needed annex.

The church has a stained glass window dedicated to the memory of Edward and Helen Thomas, commissioned by their daughter Myfanwy.

Because of the association with Edward Thomas, the evening included a number of his poems but when subsequently researching him, I came to realise that he was much more than just a poet.
