I am appointed as Assistant Professor within the department of Radiology at the Maastricht University Medical Center, and the School for Mental Health and Neurosciences at the Maastricht University.
I use quantitative MRI techniques (including 1H-MRS, DTI, fMRI, ASL, and T2-relaxometry) for neuroimaging purposes (e.g. cognitive decline in epilepsy and diabetes mellitus type II). Additionally, I collaborate with the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in multi-parametric oncologic Head and Neck imaging.
Recently, a book came out, titled "Conversations with Academics: Secrets of Promising PhD Scholars Revealed", for which I was interviewed about my PhD project. The book can be purchased through Amazon.com. Read more about it on my Curriculum vitae page.
