Project Coordinator/Administration
Coordinate logistics of museum-wide projects:
•    Synchronize individual aspects of exhibitions, including content, programming, graphics, etc.
•    Co-create new system for the museum’s digital information management
•    Maintain the museum archive
•    Coordinate job searches and hiring
•    Manage general office duties including payroll, ordering supplies and answering phones.

Project Coordinator, IMLS: Engaging Communities grant
Coordinated ideas and activities which used diverse learning styles and new technology to explore the museum and its collection and expand its audience:
•    Co-taught C&T360 Knowing and Learning with Professors Phil McKnight and Steve Case
•    Designed, organized and co-led “Using the Art Museum to Teach” workshops for non-art pre-service teachers
•    Coordinated the development and creation of a Second Life Island for the museum
•    Curated an installation of museum objects to spark discussion on the Second Life project
•    Organized, promoted and facilitated Second Life trainings for KU faculty, staff and the public
•    Wrote, filmed and edited a tour of the Spencer’s Second Life Island for YouTube

Youth & Family Outreach Coordinator
Administered children’s classes for 5-14 year olds, supervising university students as teachers and volunteers and managing registration and promotion:
•    Conceptualized and implemented a teacher-training program
•    Researched information and ideas for grant funding for the position
•    Properly managed children’s program, including confidential information
Collaborated with area school teachers and youth organizations on various projects:
•    Co-coordinated an 8th-grade podcast museum tour
•    Designed and taught art projects for a junior high afterschool program

South Central Unity Church Association
Next Generation of Unity Consultant
Designed and implemented a new position to focus on 18-35 year olds within the 13-state region, organizing and increasing participation. In this position:
•    Coordinated young adult retreats
•    Researched status of young adult ministries in the region
•    Networked ministries, ministers and interested individuals
•    Maintained program budget

2002-2006   
Wellsville Public Schools, Wellsville, KS               
Art Teacher, K-12
Taught, mentored and supervised 7 classes, grades 6-12 and 18 classes, K-5, including creating and implementing curriculum. In this position:
•    Developed lessons based on museum visits and guest artists
•    Collaborated with school and community to produce student-created shows and public art
•    Coordinated and hosted an Art Tournament attended by 8 regional schools
•    Instituted an art club which grew approximately 200% in 3 years
