Qualifications & Experience

I have a level 5 diploma in Integrative Counselling (person centered, gestalt and psychodynamic therapy)  and I have completed my qualification in counselling and trans-actual analysis. I have a qualification in working with addiction and in working with bereavement. I also have a certificate in trauma, dissociation and recovery and will be doing further study in this field of work. I am an accredited member of The Foundation for Infant Loss and have had significant training in this area. I will be starting a masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy in September 2019.

My training has been further strengthened by my work with the victim support service which provides emotional support to victims of crime and their families. My work was primarily with victims of sexual assault and trauma and families dealing with the trauma of losing a loved one through homicide. I have also worked for the NHS supporting people struggling with mental health issues including anxiety and depression and have worked for Unseen.  Through these organisations I have had in depth training for:

Childhood trauma
Adult Trauma
Mental Health
Domestic Violence
Sexual violence
Murder, manslaughter and road death
Human Trafficking

I have completed further training around child development and behaviour and have a diploma in this field of work. I also work with victims of human trafficking and modern slavery.

I am currently working in private practice with adults and children and for a bereavement charity. I have a vast range of experience and work with people that have many different issues.
