I am an Assistant Professor in UCLA's Department of Psychology. Prior to coming to UCLA, I completed my PhD with Kevin Ochsner and Walter Mischel at Columbia University and collaborated with B.J. Casey at Weill Cornell Medical College. I was also a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University working with Nim Tottenham

Childhood and adolescence are times of significant emotional and social change. My research seeks to understand how and why these changes occur with a focus on age-related differences in emotion regulation. To answer these questions, I use multiple levels of analysis, including behavioral, questionnaire and neuroimaging (structural and functional MRI) measures.

A recent copy of my CV is available here.
