About Me

I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics at Singapore Management University, School of Economics.
My research interests are International Trade and Development. In my dissertation, I studied the role of subsistence needs in output fluctuations, and how the effects vary depending on the openness to trade.  Another research project studies demand uncertainty and export failures. I investigate how per capita income differences between importing and exporting countries affect the duration of trade relationships and bilateral trade flows.
Currently, I'm teaching ECON101-Intermediate Microeconomics (Fall, 2016).
