“Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” -Walt Disney

As a lifelong learner, I have always tried to embody the quote above from one of my inspirational heroes, Walt Disney. True, it is fine and well to learn a new skill or program, but if you sit back and stop learning and creating, before you know it you are behind the times. This idea is true, more than ever, in the field of education. The constant shifts in standards, instructional strategies and innovative tools to assist students require teachers to up their game and keep moving forward.

A current learning endeavor is seeing me through the CUE Innovative Educator Certificate (IEC) program, co-sponsored by Computer Using Educators (CUE) and Fresno Pacific University. This site will host an ePortfolio showcase of signature assignments and reflective learning relating to the IEC program.
