Smelly Hands - phew what a pong ...

When chopping herbs such as onion and garlic the smells transfer to the hands.  To leave the hands smelling fresh once more - take a medium sized stainless steel spoon, egg cup, etc  but avoid utensils with sharp edges   and hold it under cold running water gently rubbing all over the hands. The stainless steel should lift any smells off the hands and leave them smelling  fresh once more.

Grapefruit juice - helps in the prevention and management of cystitis. Pink Grapefruit juice is more pleasant to drink - always dilute fresh fruit juice by 50% water.  Note: grapefruit (equivalent to one-quarter portion of this fruit per day) is currently under investigation as being one of the possible causes of breast cancer in post menopausal women - it would therefore be wise to seek medical guidance if falling into this category before proceeding to use this as a remedy.

Magnetism - aids many in pain relief.  There are claims that it relieves the dull deep aches associated with arthritis, throbs from varicose veins, sports injuries, period and menopause symptoms to name but a few. There are now Magnetic cushions, bed underlays and various body wraps available. If trying Magnetism for the first time it may be useful to have a piece of equipment on loan to see if it is of benefit. Remember when choosing Magnetic devices for medical reasons it is best to obtain the product from a recognized medical supplier. Magnetic healing tools should not be considered for use if fitted with a heart pace maker, etc and if unsure seek medical advice.
