The goal of this project ("Multimodal, high-resolution modeling of the thalamus for neuroimaging studies: application to dyslexia", Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 654911) was to build a probabilistic atlas of the thalamic nuclei and a set of companion Bayesian segmentation algorithms that use the atlas to analyze brain MRI data from neuroimaging studies. The atlas was built upon ultra-high resolution MRI and histology data from ex vivo (human!) brain samples.

In these pages, you can find the publications and code on the construction of the atlas, as well as its application to the segmentation of thalamic nuclei from brain MRI scans.
